Nether Edge

Nether Edge Against the War is a local group of residents who came together in October 2001 to oppose the US / UK war on Afghanistan. We subsequently worked to oppose the war on Iraq in a range of ways.

In February 2003 we organised 3 coaches of local, Nether Edge people, for the massive demo in London.

We have also organised public meetings (inc. one with our MP Richard Caborn). One member of our group visited Iraq and was in Bagdhad at the height of the war.

We are currently opposing the occupation of Iraq and will oppose any attempts of further wars by the USA presented as the bogus 'War on Terrorism'.

If you'd like to get involved or help in anyway please to get in touch. We welcome anyone who wishes to oppose the war regardless of political, religous, cultural or ethnic background.
